I believe the core of design and user experience is in solving problems and improving lives. I witnessed this firsthand growing up with an autistic sister. Since she was nonverbal, I had to observe her behavior to understand what she wanted. One day, we discovered a symbol-based communication app, which allowed her to communicate with us for the first time in eleven years. It opened my eyes and sparked my passion for interaction design and all the ways I can make a difference in someone’s life.
I want to create innovative and impactful works that help people and businesses function efficiently. My name is Kristy Cheng and I am a graphic designer recently graduated from ArtCenter College of Design with a focus in branding, interaction design, and motion design.
